Praise the Lord! My name is Shana Watkins Harrell, and I am a true believer that in all things in my life, I have been truly "Blessed."  I have an awesome heritage, for I am a fourth generation Pentecostal.  I have been blessed with an unbelievable family, supportive church family, and a host of friends.  I have been singing as a praise leader in our church (Morton United Pentecostal Church) since the age of 8.  All of my life, I grew up around the church, watching my mother and dad work in Sunday School rooms or sing together with my grandmother (my favorite was "Just a little glimpse of Heaven"), sing and learn new songs with Dad while he played the organ or accordion, go with Mom to the prayer room (after she had dressed me so perfectly, thanks Mom!), sat on a church pew and listened to my Grandpa (Pa Buck) preach and my Gran (Mary O'Dell) pray and sing.  Oh, what beautiful, precious memories..... I grew up with the best church family anyone could ever ask for.  I have had the privilege of so many opportunities in life, but this is one dream that has finally come true, recording my own album.  Bro. Don, you are awesome...what would I have ever done without you?  You are the BOMB!  This album has been truly blessed as I have been...I hope it will touch you as these songs have blessed and touched me growing up singing them.  Several of the songs, I have recorded for family members.  To Dad & Mom, "I am not Ashamed of the Gospel", thanks to you both for raising me in the "truth."  I hope that somewhere along my life, I have made you proud, no daughter could ever be more proud of having parents such as you two.  Mom, you know "Charlie/Oh my Glory" is just for you. Gran, it is a miracle that "Praise His Name" was a song that I recorded, especially since it is the one that you had been telling me that I needed to sing...I love you so much! "I've never seen the Righteous Forsaken" is for all of my church family, God has always provided for us and HE always will... never doubt it, because "HE IS WORKING." "How are things at Home" is dedicated to precious family members that have gone to meet the Lord in the last couple of years, Pa Buck (grandfather), I miss you terribly...save me a place in the choir and meet me at the gates and we can both say "Kiss my foot, DEVIL...WE MADE IT!"  Also to one of the most humble men I have had the pleasure of knowing, quiet spoken, a true "gentle giant," Danny Harrell,  Pa Danny (father-in-law).  Also, last but definitely not least, Paw Ben (grandpa-in-law)....a man that is truly missed by his family, there will never be anyone like you, found any new hunting spots in Heaven for the family?  I can't wait to see all of you face to face and ask, "How were things at Home," did you miss me?

The song, "There is a Remedy" is a testimony to anyone that is lost, hurt or forsaken.  It is the answer to all the problems deep inside because HE is the remedy.  HE will be there when no one else knows what you are going through..."THERE IS A REMEDY," just for you... and HIS name is.... JESUS CHRIST!

Love, Peace & Joy,
Shana W. Harrell
