My name is Austin Davis. I am 12 years old, and I've been playing the violin since I was 4. I take violin lessons from Ruthanne Schnell.
I'm raising money to go to Australia this summer with the People to People Student Ambassador program. (www.studentambassadors.org) It's a great opportunity and I am really excited about the trip. I need to raise a lot of money for the trip, and one thing I've done to raise that money is make a CD of my favorite violin songs.
You see the front and back covers of the CD here. The songs are country/fiddle, classical, patriotic, and inspirational. There are 11 ("Virtually 12") songs on it and I was 11 ("Virtually 12") when I recorded it. I play all of the songs, and on some of them I'm playing duets with my violin teacher or with my mom on the keyboard.
If you want to help me go to Australia this summer or just want the CD, sponsor me in any amount and I'll send you a complete,jewel-cased, shrink-wrapped copy of "Virtually 12."
